GEEK PLAY: WHY FIREBIRD KICKS MY ASS PART 1
I have a feeling the new Mozilla Firebird will kick my ass more and more, so I'm calling this PART 1.
First up, RSS feeds. I downloaded a Firebird extension for an RSS reader. Simply put, RSS Readers look at an XML page and display how the XML page is formatted. In the case of blogs, bloggers will spit out XML pages with just each posts title and possibly a description.

I've always thought that if I want blog info I should go to the source... go straight to someone's blog, rather than read it in a program. But this extension is sweet! The RSS Reader gives me the run down and a short description of peoples' blogs, if you click the entry, it pops up in the main browser window.
Maybe I'm way hyping this up too much, but I've seen the light! I can read more blogs, more efficiently! I'm a geek!
Oh ... here's my RSS FEED.
