Dear President Bush:
I believe you are doing a terrific job!
As Michael Moore (cc'd on this email) stated in his open letter to you (http://www.michaelmoore.com/words/message/index.php?messageDate=2003-03-17) I too am not "gung ho for war".
Though, I understand it (war) is a resolution of a terrific evil that we must protect ourself against.
I would like to point out where Michael Moore's common sense lacks and where he's flat wrong.
He states, matter of factly: "Why? 'Cause NO Iraqis have ever come here and killed any of us! No Iraqi has even threatened to do that."
1. Our issue is not with the people of Iraq, it's the regime. President Bush, I don't have to ask you not to target the Iraqi people. You've told us you won't!
2. Saddam Hussein himself issued "a hit" on your father. Saddam is an Iraqi ... that is a threat.
3. Do we have to wait for our turf to be hit, before we justify it... isn't there 10,000 gallons of Antrax unaccounted for? Possibly, it is stored in mobile chemical labs that inspectors were not allowed to look at or even shown.
Just having the Anthrax alone is cause enough for us to go in, find it and destroy it. Extreme-liberals as Michael Moore can not get it through their thick skulls that ANTHRAX and other biological and chemical weapons are not peaceful!
In his letter to you, he mentioned all the wonderful French people that either were Americans, as you and I are, or helped us during a Revolutionary War that overthrew tyranny.
Who can help the poor people of Iraq with a cool head, efficiently and completely agaist their tyranny. THE U.S.A can. Thank God!
I think 12 years is about 11 years too long for diplomacy over resolutions agreed on overwhelmingly by the world.

HOG WASH!
"There is virtually NO ONE in America (talk radio nutters and Fox News aside) who is gung-ho to go to war. Trust me on this one. Walk out of the White House and on to any street in America and try to find five people who are PASSIONATE about wanting to kill Iraqis. YOU WON'T FIND THEM! Why? 'Cause NO Iraqis have ever come here and killed any of us! No Iraqi has even threatened to do that. You see, this is how we average Americans think: If a certain so-and-so is not perceived as a threat to our lives, then, believe it or not, we don't want to kill him! Funny how that works!" -- Michael Moore, full text NO ONE is ever gung ho for war! My belief is that the U.S. will target Iraqi leadership... not Iraqi people.
There is this horrible misconception in the world that when we attack, we are going to do so in the broad force we did with Hiroshima & Nagasaki. Clearly, that was an over reaction. This will be a quick war. We will strike efficiently at specific targets.
Why does the extreme left continue to put forth bunk? Our military has not been instructed to kill Iraqis. They are their to stop a tyrranical regime.
Patience for Michael Moore has now ended.
