FEEL GOOD: KEVIN-JARRETT
 What a tangled Web is weaved on the Internet. I just got e-mail from Kevin Jarrett. Within a few minutes of e-mails zipped and clicked, I'm inspired. I read his blog entry, here. Read it for yourself. It reads very personal ... it's an aside from a man following his dreams and not letting anything throw him off course. In his own words, about himself, in e-mail to me:"who decided to chuck a perfectly good ... tech consulting job to become an elementary schoolteacher. Dreams die hard, you know? The journey began 8 months ago, we're almost there." I draw away from his blog entry the courage to do something. I've always fashioned myself as a "jack of all trades - master of nothing." I can get by with html code and can cut & paste PHP with the best, I can even fake some graphics & flash ... but, I think my outstanding quality is my network of friends. I've known this and tinkered with it ... THOUGH, now ... let it be known, I proceed with my Web Design business, working in my off hours, developing and finding clients. Utilizing my network of friends who will appreciate the freelance opportunities. Let me be the ties that bind. I present PerfectSauce.com --- (which I really need to update and correct spelling mistakes/grammar).

BUY ME: BOUGHT!
 Katie Lohrenz has taken advantage of the Noah! Blog Initial Public Offering (IPO) on BLOGSHARES. Katie runs the blog Here In Katie's Head. At first glance, without digging in the archive, it looks to be a personal blog ... the, "what's up with Katie - type". These types of blogs are refreshing to me after endless surfing the geek circles about Internet scandals. I am however flattered that she took the stab to buy my blog. Therefore, I've stuck some of my Blogshare monies into hers and rolled her over at the left.

Subject: RHCP disappointment
Dear Anthony & Flea:
I went to your show last night at the XCEL ENERGY CENTER in St. Paul, MN. I must say I am quite disappointed. This was my 4th Chili Pepper's show. I've been a fan since 1989. Before I complain too much, I will state what I thought was fun & good at your recent concert.
1) Between song interludes with Flea/John/Chad - that impromptu stuff always tickles me.
2) The fun Chad & Flea had with the whole Lakers / Timberwolves thing. GO LAKERS! GO K.B.!
3) Anthony had a funny line about "dipping into your bag of speed metal."
4) All 4 of your energies
So, which is it? I feel horrible that I missed the Mars Volta & Queens of the Stone Age. Perhaps, I would have gotten value out of my ticket if I had seen those bands. Though, the night was about the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Comments I heard while leaving the XCEL CENTER were similar to mine. "Weak" was the word.
Lastly, what was with John giving the crowd grief about crowd surfing? I don't believe all of the band supported that as Anthony kept turning around during his mini-speeches. I think John is the right fit for you guys musically, but he needs to really keep his mouth shut. My opinions on crowd surfer are the same, but the crowd doesn't need that. A reminder from stage to, "be cool" would be ok ... but to make a statement 4 times about, "kicking heads" ... really makes you look like a whiner. This is part of a rock concert, this is your crowd, quit being a pussy and rock out.
Tonight I will watch "Psychedelic Sex Funk: Live From Heaven" & "What Hits?" on VHS. I watch these because I haven't given up on the old Chili Peppers I just know, I will not buy an arena ticket for one of your shows soon again. Please take my advice: expand your play list! Have fun!
