CHANGING THE WAY I THINK: MOZILLA
I have been the most ardent Internet Explorer activist I know. Everything I code must work in IE. If it doesn't work in Netscape, "screw 'em" ... has been my mantra. Since, I've felt the unweilding heavy hand of Microsoft torture my computer in the past few weeks, I decided to download Mozilla. The biggest prompt was when I visited a site that even stated that IE 6.0 wasn't displaying the page correctly.
BRING ON THE ERA OF MOZILLA. Not only has it been a refreshing change on the eyes, it "seems" much more stable than IE, pages are loading quicker, some of the new bells & whistles (Navigator tabs) are really cool & has almost all of the same functionality as Internet Explorer. The one thing that was slick in IE was the ability to right-click a picture, copy & paste it somewhere else. Unless I'm missing something? Chime in if you know.
One huge downfall for me is my job. The company that administrates our Web sites has developed their proprietary Web editing system to only work in Internet Explorer. I will be copying them on this post.

PHOTOGRAPHIC FELINE: PIPPIN IN THE FLOWERS
These photos were taken about noon today. Pippin decided to explore a bouquet of roses and daisies I picked up for Jaime. When that became boring, he nestled down next to the photos of nephew Jason & John and Sara's wedding photo.
Speaking of photographic felines, here is Pippin as a wee little Mr. Fuzzy Orange Boy.

CONNECTION: VAIYNE.COM
 Vaiyne.com is run by my friend Joel Edwards. Vaiyne.com has gone through many, many overhauls in the past year(s). My point of view suggests that Vaiyne.com serves as Joel's learning space. Learn it, build it, test it, move on from it ... rinse, repeat.
My connection with Joel reaches back to 1998 when we met on staff at Sidewalk.com (sold from Microsoft to Ticketmaster to be incorporated into Citysearch.com). Joel is one of the brightest people I know. He's a solutions guy. You have an opportunity with some aspect of the Web, Joel can solve it, fix it & make it better.
I am currently under Joel's tutelage for basic MYSQL / PHP programming. Be patient, Joel!
