PLACES TO DOT COM: TOKELAU
Joel just passed along info on free domain names offered by the Government of Tokelau. It is a .tk address. My free one is www.noahblog.tk.Originally settled by Polynesian emigrants from surrounding island groups, the Tokelau Islands were made a British protectorate in 1889. They were transferred to New Zealand administration in 1925 ...
self-administering territory of New Zealand; note - Tokelauans are drafting a constitution, developing institutions and patterns of self-government as Tokelau moves toward free association with New Zealand more in the CIA Factbook If anyone needs a .tk, it's TK.

GOOGLE WATCH: APRIL 2003 ZEITGEIST
Noted As Good: Michael Moore searches down ... top Jennifers include, Love - Hewitt & McCarthy ... the Japanese like Caspian Sea Yogurt (how odd).
Noted As Bad: Sarah Kozer although declining, is still being searched for ... Madonna is gaining ... you can't see Mozilla's ranking in Web browsers used, contrarily IE 6.0 is way up there ... French are querying "Nice People" (as if).

VITAL: WTCTOURIST.COM
Remember the picture of the guy standing atop of the the World Trade Center as a plane was flying in? The story goes the camera was found in the rubble. Probably, the most spread hoax to date (other than the children with cancer and the trackable Microsoft e-mail).
It's dated now, but www.wtctourist.com chronicles what had happened, how it was debunked and some of the obvious tangents of the original picture. There were tons of pictures that put, "Kilroy" in such places as zoos, the birth of christ, Taj Mahal ... etc ... Dumb surfing this morning, put me back at wtctourist.com and I had to laugh at the mix of hoaxes. The guy with the big cat at the World Trade Center. It just makes me laugh. Check it out.
