Saturday, May 31, 2003 FOOD: CHIPOTLE My Chipotle slogan: 3 times per week isn't love, it's lust Chipotle has a "decent" Web site. Actually, it's pretty cool. Littered throughout the site is their hip, ultra-fun marketing creative. Fantastic, quick loading Flash site that anyone can appreciate. Though, I fault them on their navigation. It's what is known as, "Mystery Meat Navigation" and probably the single worst Web design element out there. Worse yet, the concealed navigation is the only thing you can click on from the homepage. The flash nav module is so abstract, one may think the site is not finished. Another fault is that YOU MUST use the www. prefix to get to the site. Time to upgrade! So, www.chipotle.com gets a "decent" from me. If they had a static nav (rollovers are fine), they would get a "kick ass" from me. It's a clean/fun site.
