Flipp is arguably the Twin Cities best local performers. From the energy to the eye candy to the rock gems that throw you back to Cheap Trick, KISS & Sex Pistols ... the FLIPP guys have it going on.

I first became aware of FLIPP during their show at 93XFEST in 1999 and I've been hooked ever since. These guys spare no expense on the crowd. They are notorious for flying helicopters over their crowd and dumping pillow feathers or cereal on them. Helicopter rental ain't cheap!

And neither are FLIPP. This is straight up Rock n Roll with a smirk. Just the way I like it.

I'm sure there are more, if they cross my mind today .. I'll add to the list.

    Clear Channel lays off 15 at local stations

    I guess this is the reason why they are referred to as the "evil empire". We bought you, now you're fired. At least when my employer was in budget crunch, they offered early retirement and voluntary release.
