BLOG: RAGING COW
I'm unimpressed with the Dr. Pepper's Blogging Cow.
I am impressed with their marketing to the niave. Using Movable Type. Pinging Weblogs.com, posting a wishlist and the like. I don't disagree with commerical blogging. They make it look good ... But, I think all the heart is ripped out of it. As consumers, we need to be aware when a company is trying to cater to our demo too much. Stealing what we hold personal. Repurposing it and puking it out.

MTV: NO LOW VIDEO
MTV will not be playing the Foo Fighter's video for Low. Word is that it is too racy with Dave Grohl and Jack Black prancing around in lingerie. I just viewed it. It's frickin' hilarious. In my opinion it's no worse than the "Been Caught Stealing" video by Janes Addiction. In that video there is cross-dressing, in addition to a clear message about shoplifting.
MTV should never pat themselves on the back for having high morals. Especially, over banning a good, funny video to a really good song like Low. One can only take so many beach bikini-clad girls. Really.
Check out the video.

Funny how it all works out. I'm sure if I complained and bitched up a storm, I'd get a free pop.

MEME: 100 THINGS ABOUT ME
from m-w.com Main Entry: meme Pronunciation: 'mEm Function: noun Etymology: alteration of mimeme, from mim- (as in mimesis) + -eme Date: 1976 : an idea, behavior, style, or usage that spreads from person to person within a culture
There are all sorts of MEMES associated with the Blog Life. Some more visible than other. Some we just take for granted. Such as comments. Most people have a commenting system. In my eyes, that's a meme.
I know I'm late to the 100 THINGS ABOUT ME - MEME, but I got inspired after reading Dania's 100 thinger.
So, here is mine. Blah.
